JUSTIN BIEBER IN HOT WATER?

It's official: Justin Bieber is hosting and performing during the Feb. 9 episode of "Saturday Night Live." But will the photos of him smoking pot be up for mockery? You bet.

Sources close to NBC tell TMZ that no subject is off-limits during Bieber's hosting gig. In fact, Bieber reportedly "told producers to push him as far as they want."

This seems like the right route to go because, if you're going to host "SNL," you might as well have a sense of humor. Typically celebrity hosts have at least one skit that is self-referential, and this seems like the least sensitive subject on Bieber's plate, assuming the folks over at "SNL" know better than to joke about the "cut4bieber" trend that hit Twitter after Bieber's pot photos came out.

This wouldn't be the first time a celebrity has taken the opportunity to reference a recent scandal while hosting "SNL." Alec Baldwin did it with his "Words With Friends" incident, and Paris Hilton did the same in 2003 after her sex tape debuted.
